As requested: a thin Grand Seiko - 38.5 x 10

Oct 12, 2021,13:29 PM

A dress watch evoking the bright and fresh crystaline snow of winter in Shinshu, combined with the smooth sweeping movement of the seconds hand unique to Spring Drive. This watch captures the tranquil and seamless passage of time.

Rose gold case with transparent back and 53 diamonds set by hand, discretely embelish the sides of the case and lugs. Snowflake dial with applied gold indexes, crown and hands.

Power reserve indicated on the back of the movement. The watch is only 10.2mm in depth, the power reserve is 72 hours and its accuracy is ±1 second per day, thanks to the manual-winding Caliber 9R31.

A hand-sewn leather strap (shown)

and an additional gold satin strap are supplied with the watch (for his and her sharing?)

Gentlemen, would you wear this watch? Would you allow your wife or female friend to wear it when you are not?

Speaking for myself, the answer to question 1 is YES, the answer to question 2 is "Not sure, she'd need some instruction and careful watching..."

Well, you have until January 2022 to sort that out. But if you want one of these elegant (dare I say EXCLUSIVE) watches, best contact your dealer soon. Estimated prices approx $40,000 USD.

AND I would be hard pressed to pay $38,000+ for a Seiko.

No,would not wear this...

....the jewels are just too ostentatious,to begin with. As a dress watch, i would not like a second hand, which would defeat the purpose of enjoying the smooth sweep of the second hand which is one of the main selling points of the spring drive. I do like ...

Finanlly, the diamond tuxedo/dress watch is back!!

So yes, i would totes wear it to answer your question, i would never allow my wife to wear it, i would just buy her a Faberge Swan watch or a bovet Recital 23 (assuming I can afford both lol)

I would absolutely wear this

Although 10.2mm still doesn't seem "thin" to me for a dress watch. I'd prefer no diamonds too.
