Why underrated ?
Just wondering with that beautiful piece on the wrist while chilling... ...
You are bypassing the hype which afflicts many of the other models.
But when the other model hit the stratosphere they will quickly jump to this model.
Because people have no sense! :)

The use of the bezel is very limited
Essentially the purpose of the bezel is to measure start time of a regatta. Hence not of any real use. This could be a reason as to why the watch is not sought after.
Tool watches
I was at my AD shop last week and a man was looking at a used Daytona at a outlandish price and I asked him if he knew how to use it. He said no and it didn’t matter he just wanted the watch.

„Rolexes“ in my opinion. Tried a used model a few years ago and did not pull the trigger because it had some light scratches on the bezel that disturbed me. I remember that it wore extremely comfortable. Best Thomas

very underated and for the life of me I cannot understand why? Maybe the ss 'submariner' hype overshadows such a gorgeous watch. Imo the YM are far nicer than subs. If you have skinny wrists like I do, then the 37mm YM rhodium dial looks ace. ...
Who knows, one day it will probably be on the throne, for now it's good that she's sulked, we can enjoy it ;-)

Perhaps because it lives in the shadow of more "established" models such as the Sub, Exploerer and GMT. That said, for me it is EVERY BIT as impressive and believe history will come around (eventually) and it will get its due respect. Those who appreciate...
