Years ago I owned the Rolex Explorer 214270, 39mm. I absolutely ​​ loved it but decided to sell it to purchase the smaller 14270, 36mm. Over these years I have watched the market rise on these models and never pulled the trigger as I had other "bigger" pi...

Much agreed. I find the 14270/114270 size to be better proportioned than the 214270. Perfect fit on my 6.75 inch wrist. Enjoy this classic! ...  

I don't think many collectors agree but it really does suit most people and smaller pieces have such a classic look to them. Do you have both the 14270 and 114270?

I wanted both reference models... but not so common ones. So I bought the 14270 SWISS ONLY dial and the 114270 ENGRAVED REHAUT dial. Love them both.... I have the 14270 on a black leather strap to give it a different feel. ...  

Along with the Yachtmaster they're often looked over.
