At least for my personal taste - as I like the way it ties together with the black bezel. From a collectors perspective, if I had to guess I would say the white will be more sought after over time, but not by much.

The black dial and black bezel just do not work well together. Need some contrast. Black was fine with the steel bezel.

But that is because I already have a white 116520. Can't go wrong with either!

It looks more legible (I don't know actually as I never had the pleasure of comparing IRL).

The black is casual, whereas the white has a little more flexibility with dress. In other words, if the watch is being worn with semi-business clothes, I would lean towards the white. If jeans or chinos, the black. Don't get me started on how shoes can me... 

But both are stunning and both hard to get hold of.....I still get a lot of attention from dealership sales assistants who still haven't seen one..!! ...

But the Black is more stealth. I think the white and black might get a bit tiring. However, can you really go wrong here?

My US AD said the list for white is a lot longer than the black. But this might be different in other parts of the world.

I like the stealthy nature of the black face. Goes well with anything and is classic.

I would really like to pick one up for around $9K, but I don;t see myself spending full retail on this model, I can get so many other watches that I would rather have at that price range.

But i prefer the summer ....
