Lockdowns are a good time to reminisce. Not to smile but to kick oneself. I mistimed selling this and it was totally unnecessary too. I think I just felt guilty looking at $$$ sitting on my small watchbox unworn. This would have been a good time to rebond...  

Too bad you let this specific watch go, in my opinion (of which you took a couple of stunning pics!), but I'm also certain that many more pieces that you'll fully love will come along when the world reopens! Stay safe! ;-)

Have never owned a modern Rolex, and I'm starting to think that could be the one. (Definitely one with the green glass, though!)

I've seen combos with white or orange rubber straps that looks cool.

Very nice watch! Luxuries are things we focus on after we have the necessities. Seems like you already have the SPAM, so that's why you can divert your attention to watches. If you didn't have the SPAM, then we probably wouldn't be thinking about watches....

I'm so glad I got the AWAY; I got a set of three and I'm very very happy with the two check ins. I now have 4 aluminum RIMOWA Trunks that are not going to be used though. Big problem. They're all brand new too. I have one plastic Rimowa trunk that I've al... 

I don't mind if it gets banged around and contrary to what some do (plaster them with stickers) I'd rather let its bruises speak for itself. Hard to look for a comparable clam shell type that's a bit more affordable. Not a big fan of zippered luggage as w... 

That's a difficult thing, finding a vest that isn't too immediately obvious. Hmm. I'll keep an eye out for nice clamshell luggage without zippers. Rimowa, Zero Halliburton, Tumi's 19 Degrees, are what comes to mind first. All of them are too expensive and...

Reserving it for when they extend these crazy (albeit necessary) lockdowns. Love the AK, lots to enjoy on that dial. Just wish they had a glidelock on that one.. in fact, should be de rigeur on all professional pieces! Hope you are well, mon ami. Stay saf... 

Found a rubber strap on Ebay to fit.. Keep the original under wrap.. ...
