Were you thinking of the new explorer 2 or the old one?
If it were the new one then I think you've better chance getting the daytona unless you are talking about the new ceramic bezel daytona, in that case you really need luck on your side.
If is the old explorer 2, white or black dial? If you are looking at black dial then I would choose the milgauss gv. If you are considering the white dial then I would say either one is fine.
What I would do personally given the same situation is get the milgauss gv first then a white dial explorer 2 because I like them both.
I have a white dial milgauss by the way but since you specificy a milgauss gv then that's how I would do it. A milgauss gv with a white explorer 2.
Both fantastic modern rolex to have in a collection.
It may break your budget but you are in with 2 watch that represent the less well known but equally interesting history of rolex tool watch.
Hope to see your new watch here when you have a final decision.

Tyler

If you want one... don't believe the hype! I think it is a far more substantial and ultimately desirable watch than the others... they are out there for immediate delivery (in this economy.) Get the watch you really want, not the watch you can get 'conven...
