Rolex

I'm not sure exactly how case thickness is measured, but divers generally seem to be listed as being in the range of 9-18mm thick. I've heard that the Rolex 5512/13/14s are somewhere in the middle, at about 14mm. Could anyone give me an idea of where the ... 

.....none of the reference books i have detail case depth for the 5512/13. On my 5512, it is around 14mm. Obviously, other Rolex divers will vary enormously, but for the 5512/13, I think you are in the right ballpark.

That would be a 40mm diameter Rolex Submariner 16610. If you look at the Submariner 14060 you are at 39.5 and 12.3 case thickness. I have been hunting through my parts catalog for more details but there are none to be found. I guess getting out the microm...  

....i found info on those two suggesting 14mm. What i haven't found is measurements for the older divers. I am also unclear on how the measurement is made....but it makes no sense to me to include plexi.
