Rolex

I'm not sure exactly how case thickness is measured, but divers generally seem to be listed as being in the range of 9-18mm thick. I've heard that the Rolex 5512/13/14s are somewhere in the middle, at about 14mm. Could anyone give me an idea of where the vintage Rolex divers fit in, in terms of case thickness?

.....none of the reference books i have detail case depth for the 5512/13. On my 5512, it is around 14mm. Obviously, other Rolex divers will vary enormously, but for the 5512/13, I think you are in the right ballpark.

That would be a 40mm diameter  Rolex Submariner 16610.

If you look at the Submariner 14060 you are at 39.5 and 12.3 case thickness.

I have been hunting through my parts catalog for more details but there are none to be found.  I guess getting out the micrometer is the only way .
