These watches are classics for a reason. But as said it might be time for a check up.

Rolex patina bubbles

Hi there, The watch on the photos is a Rolex Datejust that we bought million years ago (1991) so it is now approx 30 years old. This watch is amazing, it has been serviced exactly 1 time when a spring had broken. Other than that it has lived through skiin...

That looks like a heat or moisture issue to me...

Maybe check waterproofness again. The waterproofness of any watch, including a Rolex Oyster, can degrade over time.

This review is a standout

I agree with Nicolas,

Apparently your dial has somewhat reacted to moisture that entered between it and the glass at some stage. I would get it checked by a good watchmaker if any of that is still in the case and for waterproofness, although it shouldn't be the case as long as...

If possible I would like to keep the dial. It has so much character but especially history thanks

You have a point.
