The allure of the Tudor Heritage Black Bay.
I’ve been looking for a nice Tudor 79220B for a while now. Finally found one.
I find these 79220’s really appealing and when they first came out I now regret waiting for the 79220N before I purchased one. As it turned out the 79220N was produced for the least time for only a few months and with its classic design was the one I was immediately drawn to. But in recent years and for reasons which is a whole new topic I’ve found myself more drawn to Tudor than ever. These 79220’s with the ETA movement and rose logo with “smiley” text caught this collectors attention.
I guess the 79220R which was the fist in the range May have to join the collection although the State
Of Qatar version ticks the R box at the moment.
I, like so many, get such a lot from Tudor these days. Their Moto “to dare” for me fits them like a glove.
Happy Friday all.
M.

While I was a fan from the outset I found the case a little too big for me. So I waited, and then of course the BB58 came along. I waited again, as I was hopeful that a custom run of the original BB58 was possible but alas no. And then I finally sprung fo...
