That is mint ! I think the 36mm coloured gold (rose, yellow) is a power watch if there ever was one.
But, because of the smaller size I also think it’s an easier one to wear. I’ve tried the modern 40mm DD, too much gold for me to be easily worn.

I guess these dials have less opportunity to age in the way typically associated with old Rolex.

The same dial I’ve seen on a Date Just too, I’m almost certain. And this dial I’ve seen on YG Presidents too. In fact, I think there was one here at some point.

...my wife's uncle wears one. He's had it for decades and it's got a patina I can't explain. Yellow gold...the thing just glows. 36mm and classy AF as the kids say.
