A shiny (and matte) new Explorer! Sorry for the terrible picture but be assured: this watch is superb. So good to see this back at 36mm. ...  

So how does it wear? Compared to the older 36mm?? Enjoy.... you have my envy...haha. 36mm is the perfect size for this watch.....

Has a slight but definite chunkiness compared to the older 36mm that I, for one, appreciate--that, plus the heavier and smoother modern bracelet make it feel a little more prominent on the wrist than a 114270, which I'm preferring. (Don't get me wrong: it... 

I am “On the List” for one . I will believe it when I see it! So happy they are making an Explorer in 36mm. Can’t wait to see one on my wrist! Enjoy!

This was never going to be my only watch, but it feel so obviously ready to accompany me ANYWHERE I want to go doing ANYTHING I might want to do, that I see how it could be. As for the AR: if they hadn't told me it had AR coating, I never would have guess...

The increased tapering should be interesting. The new Speedmaster is certainly quite drastic on that front

19mm at the lugs to 14mm at the clasp. Interestingly, I *don't* think the taper looks that drastic. I would think that 19->14 would look more radical than this does.

But this watch could be worn with confidence and security on a wrist as small as... I dunno, pretty small (I think it looks a little bigger on me in this photo than in reality.)
