My first really good watch was a 1st Gen VC Overseas Chrono as well (approx 2002). I believe it was the first one my, then, local AD received.
Super! Some say the shape of the indices on the new 126xxx Daytonas go after the indices on five-digit Daytonass
But I think the 126xxx indices are shaped after the diamonds of your 116xxx series: more modern than vintage. Enjoy! Chk
