We have something else in common now; despite the issues you mentioned re personal safety and heightened recognition among the general public for high end watches (both of which we each perceive as broadly negative) I too bought a precious metal Rolex in recent years. Mine not quite the heavy hitter yours is, but still a Rolex I never thought I’d own.

Super! Some say the shape of the indices on the new 126xxx Daytonas go after the indices on five-digit Daytonass
But I think the 126xxx indices are shaped after the diamonds of your 116xxx series: more modern than vintage. Enjoy! Chk
