Thank you all for making me feel better about the polishing mistake!
Unfortunately, I found two other issues when I went to pick up the watch: The triangle marker on the bezel was not clicking precisely at 12 o'clock, and the hour hand was not pointing precisely at the hour markers either. I know the bezel was clicking into position correctly before service because I checked it after repeatedly having the same bezel issue on my Kermit (which I traded in for a Daytona

My Rolex watches are the only things that come remotely close to perfect in my life. I get a feeling of serenity knowing that I can always find ordered perfection by simply glancing at my wrist.

Put the watch on your wrist enjoy it and you’ll have new scratches on the bracelet guaranteed. 😉 This are not watches that by a factory polish will change value unless completely ruined , but I doubt that’s the case here ...
