Something truly beautiful about these Rolex Daytona
I have always had a very soft spot for the daytona, yet, I find the chrono to be "not so practical to use" compared to other chronograph, and that mainly because the pushers are screwed... Its too much work! The dial is not the most legible either, especially for my older eyes, yet efforts have been made in rescent years to improve it, with noticible improvements.. But despite those facts, it is just such a beautiful watch all around. The size, the thickness, the layout, the way it catches the lights. What can I say, I just love a Daytona.

Is not for everyone either. The styling is a little strange but the one thing I will say is that there is not one other watch that I’ve tried out so far that when you wind it, it has a superb mechanical feel and sound to it. I can’t really describe it but...

I have a couple of 16523, love them too, the simetry of the subdials, the thinner hands, and the nice battons endices. I wore one for so long, it almost feels like a second skin to me. Nowaday, i seldom wear, but they still move me.
