Some pictures of a Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 Double Red.
For the moment, I have one Sea-Dweller, and a reference I love, the 16660. But it has been years I am considering a 1665 Double Red.
This one is not bad looking at all:
But my dream would be a tropical 1665 Double Red, thin case, MK II.
One day, I will get one. There is something magic about these " Double Red ".

Very cool reference to have in a vintage Rolex collection.
Just a slight edge over the 1680 red sub with two lines of red text which means this one can turn the volume ip to eleven. Lol ...
The 1665 double red is a dream watch for me ...
But i can waiting with my " great white " ...

hi nicolas, do you know the difference in thickness between the mk2 and the mk2 thin case?
nobody seems to know... Anyone own both?
... I've asked several vintage dealers, best answer was noticeably thinner. So strange Though it shouldn't be that hard to know.

... what do you prefer, an MK2 with a nice light brown tropical dial ? Or an mk2 thin case, with a light black/very dark brown dial ?
i agree with you, have the same dilemma...
... that actually needs the budget to solve That being said, bulky case might be in the spirit in this special case. Going bold makes sense
