Rolex Submariner 6200: My Submariner Grail.
Seeing the Rolex 6200 in picture gives you some strong feelings, but seeing it in the real is an unforgettable experience.
Our dear Joe showed me this watch in September 2011. since that day, I could never forget it, and I can say it is my Rolex Grail.
The 6200 is one of the first " modern " diving watch. When I say modern, I mean that it is the roots of diving watches we know nowadays: Screw in Crown, turning bezel, legible dial, screw in case back, luminous indices and hands.
The 6200 was launched at the same time than the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Rotomatic Incabloc, at the Basel Fair, in 1954.
They both are an icon, a milestone, now.

i am wondering about three things!
1. Flush-fit bracelet, nobody say this today. 2. No lug-holes in a 5513. May be this was a wish from 1966 till 2012 - a short period for Rolex. They thinking in centenarios. ))) 3. The number "1029" for a 5513 ? They have changed numbers ? ...
