Rolex GMT-MASTER 16750: The Transitional GMT MASTER.
16 750, 16 760, these are two GMT MASTER references which are worth a consideration. Produced for a few years, just between the reigns of the 1675 and the 16 700 / 16 710, the 16750 showed to faces, vintage and modern, and painted matte dial versus circled indices with a glossy dial, both versions being correct, the matte for the first years, the glossy for the last years.
That's what I wanted to say about the reference.
Now about this watch... I sold it to a good friend, some 9 years ago. The good friend in question had the good idea to come back with it. There were many years I didn't see it again!
It always generate a strange feeling when you see a watch which belonged to you after so many years. Nostalgia, of course, but happiness to see that it is so much loved by its " new " owner.
Here is a quick picture I could take yesterday:
Tombub, please come back with it for other pictures... The sun came through my " light tent " and made some strange effects on the dial. I could only save this photo.
Thank you, my friend.
And all the best to you all!
