16 750, 16 760, these are two GMT MASTER references which are worth a consideration. Produced for a few years, just between the reigns of the 1675 and the 16 700 / 16 710, the 16750 showed to faces, vintage and modern, and painted matte dial versus circle...
This was my only "vintage" Rolex journey, and well before I knew enough to be worried about what I was buying!
Still have it, still wear it regularly. It's the earlier Matte dial. I've been thinking, for about 10 years of getting a new insert. Of course over those 10 years the prices of inserts have gone bananas! ...
I had not looked at insert prices for maybe 5-6 years, then last year looked a few times and was very shocked! Wow.
I always wanted something a little more weathered/ aged. It will have to wait.
