Rolex GMT Bracelet Royal Rumble: 7836 vs. 78360.
Not really a Royal Rumble but rather a question: my friend Crabby Appleton (not real name) has a 1974 Rolex GMT 1675 sans bracelet; Crabby has a 7836 folded bracelet and a 78360 bracelet from their shoebox of stuff; I think the folded bracelet is "more correct" for the watch (I am just guessing); do Rolex gurus think a layman should risk damage resizing the 7836 or prudent to estimate the # of links that need to be removed from the 7836 bracelet and send the bracelet for resizing to a person that knows what they are doing; in the meantime Crabby can use the 78360. Comments appreciated, thank you.

Both bracelets are perfectly fine.
Period correct or not, whichever one feels best to you. I like the weight of the 78360 as it matches well the weight of the head. But the originality of the 7836 is undeniable. But as you noted, the 7836 bracelet needs to be professionally resized. You wi...
