Rolex 18k rose gold ref 1503 from 1963
This is a Rolex 1503 with acrylic crystal & cyclops magnifier and fluted bezel instead of the engine turned bezel for ref 1501. The 1503 is made in stainless steel, 14k white, yellow or pink gold or 18k yellow or pink gold.
This Rolex Date reference 1503 has an original riveted 13 link Oyster bracelet are 18k rose gold. It has a 26-jeweled Rolex cal.1560 COSC movement. The 1503 was produced from circa 1960s-70s
Comparison between a yellow gold versus rose gold
Below are some examples of rose gold watches ref 1601,1803, 6305 and 1503. As you can see, Rolex has not mastered the art of producing rose gold watches and we can see different shades of rose gold & pink gold below.
