Nicolas I recall one of our earlier conversations about rarity. You said you didn't care that much about it and it was not the most important factor. Have you changed your mind since then? For me I like an early 6542 is nice to have but it is not a must have. I think the most important factors with early GMT masters with bakelite bezel is not the red depth per se (if you can find ofcourse it is a real bonus for sure) but rather the condition of the dial and the even more important perhaps the colors of the bakelite. This really can make or break a 6542. For example the watch that Pisani shows is nice but the bakelite colors are not attractive. I prefer a darker red (almost blood type) with a nice dark blue insert (somewhat similar to what you show). Also the dials of the early GMTs you show seem not that glossy but rather with specs of radium on them. I don't mind that with Submariner but on GMT I would prefer the dial to be very glossy and black with gilt writing that contracts nicely with the black dial.
