Points to consider
Vintage DJ is matt finish, "quite", and old money style..
GS is Zaratsu polished, much shiny and looks more like a modern DJ ,
DJ is noticeably thinner than GS
Water resistance - is it important to you?
Even though vintage Rolex with fresh seals keeps there WR, I would avoid bringing it in contact with water, its not about the movement but any water damage will ruin the hands and dial and a replacement won't look the same.
GS is typically 100m and no issues.
DJ is 2 days, new GS is 3 days PR.
Crystal:
DJ plexi will get scratches esly (and can be buffed easily)
GS is sapphire.
For me, the WR is the main point, if not important to you, my hear will always go vintage !.
