I have found some nice pictures of a 6265 vs a 16520 (credit Axl). Quite interesting to see the differences between the two watches. The 16520 bezel is too wide IMHO, to me it ruins the proportions of the Daytona. ...

Less cluttered dial (way too many word on the 16520), better looking subdials and better looking overall. The only nicer thing on the Daytona is the diameter. 37 mm is really small for a chrono - 39mm would make the 6265 perfect. ;)

...also, the rather large crown and pushers give it some extra size. But it's a matter of personnal taste for sure.

pictures. I do not find the bezel on the 16520 too large I think it is in keeping with the proportions of a larger case. To me the only tiny bit which I would criticise is the "cluster" look of the sub-dials on the 16520 compared to the 6265. If the movem...

While I agree that 6263/6265 have much better proportion, like all the other vintages are - compared to the new ones The watch itself, as a whole has it's own charm.. Especially when it looks like this Cheers Sam ...

... to the fire!! It´s a wonderful dial indeed! The patina on your dial is much prettier than the one I was shown. Yours got a beautiful uniform brown color. The one I saw yesterday is lighter brown, and I believe not so uniform. Pretty and distinctive of...

Which is in my eyes, a kind of best of both words. Maybe more qualitative, but less cool than a manual Dayto. The dial of the 16520 is very much my taste, too. Best, Nicolas.
