Rolex

This is the eternal question which lead me to not take a decision, till now, on which Milgauss 1019 to get. Both have their own charm and beauty. The black is stronger, without any doubt: While the silver is more subtle, discrete, and, somewhat, original,...  

but is the black the rarer of the two? I take it you took the silver one then? I can only drool in appreciation. :) Thanks for sharing these lovely photos. Definitely getting both is an excellent idea in this case. :) Best fernando

Black is imposing and bold, silver is as you say discreet. I love the CERN dial variant the best! OpC

The 1019 Milgauss is a very rare watch down here. As a matter of fact I have seen only two specimens in the flesh here in several years. Both were equipped with the silvered dial. It is a most handsome watch, and I had declined it as it is well beyond my ...

I feel i am in the same boat as you. I have wanted one of these for a number of years, but indecision about dial has prevented me from acting. Black was my initial desire, but as time has passed I have found myself looking more at the silver. Silver would... 

. . . correlates with the color of nothingness. I'm not a Rolex guy, but a black 1019 is a perfect watch.

......that sounds to me like you could be turned into a Rolex guy.....turn to the dark side, Art..... you know it makes sense.

. . . serious watch was a Rolex - an AirKing circa 1985, to be precise. The next one incoming is a Grand Seiko, but after that, who knows? There are some Rolex models that speak volumes . . .
