I think it’s the integrated bracelet that makes the watch looking such a perfect size and unit.

I made a conscious decision to go with the 40 mm version five years ago because many of the technical features of the new movement were very relevant to me (72-hour power reserve and many other technical improvements).



And I had sold my DD 36 in 2009.
This "happened" to me because I thought I needed it to fund a Patek anniversary calendar, which I never really loved and even don’t own anymore. I should have kept my lovely DD 36, which was “just” in WG and had an Oyster bracelet, too.



Yours in Platinum definitely looks amazing!!!

A wg dd40 and a pt dd40 can have many of the same dials, leading to an overlap in looks.
