It's amazing it took brands like Rolex over a year to do this...
Feb 04, 2022,16:23 PM
Brand boutiques for Rolex (among others) have been devoid of
any stock for well over a year now, so at least this allows you to see something
in the metal. It's still laughable that you can't get your hands on
anything, and even a little infuriating that staff at these boutiques have no
real answer when you ask the inevitable question about when or how you might be
able to purchase a watch. It’s a major turn-off for a brand to perpetually have
no stock available, and more importantly to really not feel like they’re making
any effort to make customers (and potential customers) still feel loved. This
is certainly not limited to Rolex, it’s a much wider problem among many brands
these days.

Had a couple of hours spare between meetings so I thought I'd browse a few watch retailers in town. This was the most common sight. ...
It would make a great tag line...

..."Rolex. You can't have one.™ Maybe they can hire the actor who plays the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld...'No watch for you!!'
+1 👍

This situation makes me tired.

And cools down my enthusiasm. And drives me to other brands (although I love the tree pieces I have got from this brand and my son and I are wearing regularly with pleasure). Best Thomas
I completely agree.

It does not put me off the brand, and yes, at first it is frustrating, but gotten used to this as being the norm now. The silver lining is your point exactly, but also makes the hunt more exciting.
