Brand boutiques for Rolex (among others) have been devoid of any stock for well over a year now, so at least this allows you to see something in the metal. It's still laughable that you can't get your hands on anything, and even a little infuriating that ...
This situation makes me tired.
And cools down my enthusiasm. And drives me to other brands (although I love the tree pieces I have got from this brand and my son and I are wearing regularly with pleasure). Best Thomas
I completely agree.
It does not put me off the brand, and yes, at first it is frustrating, but gotten used to this as being the norm now. The silver lining is your point exactly, but also makes the hunt more exciting.
