I was banging this drum years ago. I’m not sure if people realise just how much rarer these transitional 16808’s are than the 1680/8. Especially ones with nipples sir. Love nipples especially on a gold sub. Enjoy your piece of Rolex history and mine says ...

Yes I agree they are a great when vintage meets modern watch as is the 16800 to be fair. This one of mine was in stock at the AD’s for over 10 years back in the day. My how times have changed with Rolex stock. Mind you I remember seeing a 6239 PN dial in ...

I used to have this watch. Vintage Rolexes look terrific with the gold jubilee bracelet. Bought mine from Andrew Shear years ago and sold it off; regretting that sale now!
