I feel what you told.
You work so hard night and day for a watch, are you mad?
Hahaha, i made a joke.
The Rolex story. I have simular experience, but only online, and in paper magazines.
How different it is for me when i see Rolex watches stored on a display in a store.
And not only a few models, there are a lot i like in real.
The ones that catch my eyes the most are Milgauss, Submariner Hulk, and the black basel and dial Yachtmaster - white gold , 116655.
Hulk 116610LV.
Sure, the Smurf, the sub i think this is a grail.
Working, or easy to get what you want.
I guess i am in the middle of this.
My way is to collect a core collection, which i finishes a few years ago. It gives me rest.
From now on, i have still a watch which i must collect the matter what comes up. MOA 10548.
But i have my core collection, so i can switch.
I told Nicolas for example that a JLC watch is a must have in my collection, but that the MOA 10548 throws me back.
So first MOA 10548 than JLC, Chopard, Rolex, AP, GP, Montblanc, UN and others can be collected.
I think Richemont gets me.
Richemont is the same as Swatch group, it is always desirable.
Watches in general. I have no problem with cheap, as long the watch do not broke.
I confess, expensive watches are giving me a kick.
I like the wondering faces of people that it is normal for me to spend 6K, and i am surprised why they do not spend 7K on a watch, when they told me they paid 15K for a new kitchen. Totally insane to pay 15K for a kitchen, while a normal kitchen is ok for cooking.
Have fun and a great time with your Rolex Airking, it belongs to you.
But one watch secret i have for you, …. i dislike Tudor.
