I wanted to have a sub and gmt and dayto and so as a collector you need them all but as I refined my focus and expanded vertically
I found myself more in touch with the depth within the models. I guess in the future If was going to have one dayto it would be a screwdown Newman.

there are so many 6263 around .....
not really hard to replace .. even if you want one with " everything " and in extramint conditions ... or even if you search the rarest combo ( PN dial with RCO printings ) .. the only 6263 extremely hard to replace would be the one with Oman crest ( and ...

the only watch I regret ( altough has never been mine ) it's the f.. ing " desert " ( or " black " ) submariner ..... I only had it in my hands for a couple of hours but was love at first sight ...

It just did not fit my theme. At first I wanted one of each range sub, explorer, chrono etc. but then I refined my approach to go vertical within the models so 5512 has several variations so I followed the vertical approach. Bill

Well, there is always an exception to the rule....
If it really was the ONE and the only possible way to get that one would be to let go of something else.... I guess it would be a case by case decision. Depending on what the one would be and what the something else would be.... Best, my mind game playing...
