I know what you mean.....
the bezel on my Datejust is white gold but you would only know if you knew that the engine turned bezels are always gold....the rest of the watch is SS. A small silent pleasure..!! I wore that one for 6 years 24/7 untill I found myself getting more pieces and it still keeps perfect time. I was thinking of changing the face at the next service but this one isn't available anymore so I think I'll habg on to it.
