Finally added the BB58 Navy Blue
Feb 14, 2021,09:04 AM
The Tudor Black Bay 58 Navy Blue is a watch which I really like since it’s introduction last year. The new colour is a reference to the “Blue Snowflake" Tudor Submariners from the mid-70s. These Tudor Snowflake Submariners, like other Submariners produced by the brand were supplied to the Marine Nationale French Navy during that period.
I personally would have prefer the BB58 Navy Blue to feature the same square hour markers as the Blue Snowflake as this will gives the watch an even stronger identity as the modern day Snowflake. That being said, I do loves the look and compact feel of the BB58 on the wrist and especially this particular shade of blue. A versatile and almost perfect daily watch for me.
And I am glad that it came just in time to accompany me during this Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day.☺️

This is one of the nicest shades of blue ... Tudor got it spot on right! Your wife’s Rolex OP dark blue is also very nice. When I see it in the photo together with the Tudor’s Navy Blue, I have a better sense of its shade and they are both very nice and c...

In fact I like it slightly more than the OG Blue Snowflake. I feel it is extremely versatile, not too dark or bright. My wife’s OP blue is what Rolex calls Bright Blue and it’s a sunburst blue. It is quite dynamic under natural/sunlight. Definitely a more...
