Devil inside...

I am not going to make you another review of this beastof depths, just a small return on the history of the Triple six.
Triple Six forr 16660, the first saphir SD, the bad boy sub, not confortable...
... but really expressive in the wrist.
It arrives at the catalogue at the beginning of 80' to take over of the mythical 1665.
An example of 1665 :

SD 16660 is probably, with Sub 16800, one of ref. most envoutante of the vintages " saphir ". As 16800, SD 16660 was produced during the first 3 years with painted faces.
This SD, with a serial in 8,2 millions, could accept a painted face.
I don't know if it's a legend but I think the development of this SD been accomplished with COMEX, it uses this ref from 1980 till 1984.
The box of this baby has nice rests.
SD is really thick, it breathes the diving tool.
The famous helium valve, which is a ameliorated version of the 1665.
16660 load the 3035 calibre, really well regulated.

And the bottom which makes it really less comfortable than Sub.
Check, a lot of blablabla to persuade me to keep it at the home ;-)
So Doug, in love?!

The Triple 6.... Not the most comfortable watch, foir sure, maybe not the most elegant, but do we really care? It is a lovely watch, a kind of " Bad Boy ", with a strong character, and a lot of charm. Aaah, between circield and pinted indexes, I'd go on p...

It is the Muhammad Ali of watches. Its big. Its strong. It is full of character. And it floats like a butterfly. Well actually no, it doesn't float like a butterfly at all. Its a brute, but it is elegant in its brutishness. I love mine....
