Day Date
It is a special Rolex.
I found the first signs of it’s existence when i was browsing the internet around 2002.
The Day Date went quickly my favorite Rolex.
At around 2002 the steel model cost around 10K in Euro’s.
The same period i was considering a Milgauss GV, Airking, Oyster quartz, and a Date Just.
The Milgauss GV was the most serious option for me, price and the looks.
I regret it a bit why i did not buy a Milgauss GV.
Still i can buy one today, but i went more in direction to a Hulk and green dial Oyster Perpetual 41mm.

Food for thoughts. 1981, the day date is surviving the quartz crisis. 1998, the day date is stil here and un changed (almost). Is here the power of keeping the good thing un changed? Yes. But that is my view on things.
