....where do you draw the line?


For example, when i think of my tropic DRSD, that is....as you correctly argue....a result of a defect that has manifested itself in the dial turning chocolate brown. Now, I absolutely love that effect. It is a damaged dial...yes. But i do prefer that over a flawless version. So i guess I am not being consistent. 

Which leads me to think that this is a highly subjective question....and bears to taste more than anything. I cannot look at that Tiger Dial and not love it....but then when i see some guys call their dials tropic, I look at the dial and all I see is damaged goods. 

So...where am i? I guess it really is just taste. 


ps...did you see than Mandy called us both "old farts"???
