These gem-set models are actually the ONLY modern Rolex models that are somewhat handmade, especially the fully gem-set models. I have discussed this with the ex number 3 at Rolex, he was the production manager for Rolex for over 20 years before retiring....
Probably between 50 - 70 per year and even less of the FULLY gem-set pieces, meaning case, bracelet, etc...are fully gem-set I would even say that 100 or less out of a million is MORE RARE than 10 pieces out of tens of thousands per year, mathematically.
