This is their certified pre owned from Rolex? I have no experience but if the watch has service paperwork from Rolex that is wonderful. In that case price is based on condition as service is guaranteed. ...  

and yes, the watch has a 2 year warranty on movement from Rolex.

You can spend more than that on a safe queen NOS unserviced unpolished perfect example with box and papers or a fraction of that price for a middle of the production beater to wear everyday with abandon. Early dials cost more, last year of production cost... 

so much to learn. I have always wanted a Daytona, for more than 30 years. I finally realized that my only route to one is via pre-owned. the main attraction of buying from Rolex cpo program is its warranty on genuineness. I haven no specifc likes or disli... 

Same! I remember when the Zenith Daytona was announced and wanted one back then but decided to go a little more conservative and only now had the chance to come back around. It's a modern enough Rolex you probably won't get a bad watch from any respectabl...

My one regret is I was a little too focused in my search. While I was making the rounds I wish I had also looked at white dial 16520s and gold 16528s. Now I'm tempted to check out other versions but need to hit up the dealers again... ...  

like both colour dial, so that is not a deal breaker for me. good luck with your new search.
