Aaah the 16610LV...
After many years of being a bit snobbish (everyone has a Rolex!), I actually realised that they are quality watches so I bit the bullet.
I was concerned that the novelty of the green bezel would wear off, so I bought a black bezel just in case.
Well, 6 years later, the green novelty hasn't worn off, the black bezel still sits untouched in a dark drawer somewhere!! One of my wiser purchases, and am pretty sure this will be with me for a long long time. It just hits the mark for a strong steel sports watch, with a touch of exoticism!
I didn't realise so many people here had/have the LV.
On a personal note, I prefer the dimensions of the 16610 to the 116610, and so am very glad to have this shape in my collection.

I lost the track with the 116400GV still in the catalog or not. I just checked right now...
And it is still in the catalog. But I had to check. Good question. It's been 10 years it has been unveiled. Time for a stop? Best, Nicolas

I think the LV is one of the modern steel watches that is going through the roof at the moment. Especially the first series and the NOS ones. Curious if that bubble will hold. Probably will for the first series.
