40 years working in publishing, I have never seen a publication format or design last past one designer's tenure (sometimes one year)

Here's an example, with 3 books from 2018, 2019, 2020!  Is it too much to ask to have the spines match on a 3-volume set?!

Each of the 3 years is different in a half-dozen ways, annoying me no end.
Picture, no picture,
Red 1, no red numeral 2 and 3.
Series Title in Light, then Series Titles in italics.
Book title in Light italics, then book titles in Red Bold Italics.
Column with publisher above, publisher on it, no publisher name.

Of course "obession over details" should be the subtitle for WatchProSite, shouldn't it?

After 8 issues you change the format. ...

Save the cost?
