Rolex 16613 spare parts (93253 bracelet)

Hi All,

I am new to this forum, and hope that I can gain some knowledge from other members

I have a Rolex Sub 16613 and the clasp rivet and bar has broken

Also, the solid gold link that joins the clasp has eroded and so I need this either repaired or replaced

In addition, I also need a spring bar that connects the first link from the case to the strap (this is the concealed spring bar about 9mm approx)

I would ideally like to source these parts and replace myself, it looks straightforward but I could be wrong.

I would consider a used strap in good condition although I believe my strap is fixable

Can anyone please advise best course of action

I feel my best option is to get the gold link repaired by a jeweller/watchmaker and buy the spring bar and clasp rivets/bar

My second best option is to buy a used strap

I dont want to send to Rolex, I have heard they will want to replace any parts with wear, so that will mean a new strap $$$$

I am really struggling to find the spare parts; I have read that Rolex have done this deliberately

Any advice is greatly appreciated

You may want to start at your local watch maker. They usually have parts or know where to get the parts. Not sure which neck of the woods you are to recommend a source for parts. On of the biggest sources for all kinds of parts is Otto Frei a quick search...

The links can be repaired

I think most jewelers could repair the gold link. However the stainless link would need to be laser welded and then drilled. It would cost more that buying replacement parts. The pins are straight forward and watch repair shop will have access to the pins...
