Thanks Felipe. It might be of interest to learn that using a fisheye lens
has become something that photographers should consider. The Nikon 10.5 DX fisheye with the Nikon Capture software allows the photographer to digitally remaster the photo afterwards to remove the curvature warping and have a 'flat' wide angle photo instead. Some of the field of view is removed, but the effect is 'true' and removes the need to carry additional lenses.
Further, the modern fisheye lense is relatively small and light making it easier to carry and use. As a comparison, not the two pictures below. The ONLY alteration made is to remove the curvature from the fisheye lens to create a flat picture. Cool! Sometimes you want to keep the perspective of the fisheye lens, but at other times, it can be useful to remove the curvature. See what you think:
