She started slowly, then she thought by herself that she had to take some pictures of a nice place or moment.

It's natural that her photos are different from yours...
sometimes very different... and some of the best ones are the ones you don't like... let her choose which photos to show us... better yet if she does the post processing ; ) Casey
She did a good job in that shot. She kept the horizon line from being in the middle, had some human interest in the shot and composed the shot nicely. [nt]
And the highlight/shadow leads your eye around the picture well.
