What I’m about to share with you is rather personal (moderator please edit if so required)

Some of you might recall that last year March, just days after the 1st global massive COVID lockdown was activated, our first and sofar only grandchild was born back home in Europe

I couldn’t leave Dubai and didn’t see her until September that year.

My wife was back home in Europe but couldn’t visit our son plus his wife and our grandchild either because both my son and daughter in law tested positive when they checked in the hospital for the delivery.

Our grandchild was the first “COVID Baby” born in our home country. Imagine giving birth to your first child surrounded by medical staff in full HAZMAT gear.

But all went well. The baby tested negative. Both my son and his wife recovered fully and finally in September we all got together.

Since then covid struck again. Travel was impossible. Until now.

My son his wife and grandchild made it to dubai for a few weeks rest. Tomorrow they're leaving

And the baby? See for your self (ps for all photographers out there I belief this is my best photo ever but I could be slightly biased)

Furthermore a very special thank you to a handful of senior members who were fully aware of this bizar scenario as it unfolded: million thanks for your listening ears and massive support. You can’t begin to imagine how much we appreciated that.
