I think you will like the Q2

Whether you will end up picking the normal Q2 or the Q2 monochrom both are exceedingly fine instruments. More and more I am drawn by the sheer quality that the 28mm Summilux can produce. I initially think that a fixed 28mm lens will be really limiting plus the cost of the Q2 can easily justify a lot of other fine photographic alternatives with left over cash to spare. Ultimately, in my own experience is that the resolving power of the lens is so good together with the 47M pixels allow me to do extreme crops and still get very excellent fine details.
So you can say that I am won over by the Summilux which at least in my opinion of having used a number of other Leica lenses is definitely one of the their very top performers. Dipping the toes into Leica territory is always kinda pricy but if I look at it from another perspective the cost of a standard Leica M 28mm Summilux is almost on par with that of a Q2. So in a way for the Q2, I kind of view that I buy a 28mm Summilux lens and Leica throw in a free camera body that also auto focuses, does macro shots and is weather sealed. Yes abit of warp reasoning.
