It's a great looking superb camera.
But I doubt if the quality of the photos is that much better than those of a proper Nikon or Canon, to justify the price difference. Not to mention the flexibility the other brands offer.
You would be able to obtain a Nikon Z7 II + D780 + some lenses for the same amount.

It it looks very cool but realistically is it that much better in the real world than a good Nikon or Cannon with all the flexibility that they offer. Interested in your thoughts
Cpt... I spend a lot of time at 50mm...

but I am drawn to the 28 and 100. the new Q2 Monochrom has that in-camera crop feature... plus tweaking to maximize the fixed lens results. and when the Q1 came out I was impressed. I will check the local big box store, but might have to visit the Leica B...
The Nikon Z7 also takes legacy lenses with an adapter...

so the Z series bodies have the flexibility to utilize most old F-Mount glass. interesting [paper] comparison... I haven't seen the Q2 Monochrom stats, but I assume they must be similar to the Q2... Casey .
Interesting ...

I already have a Monochrome camera
By: logan2z : November 11th, 2020-06:11
It's called an M-A loaded with Tri-X As much as I love shooting in B&W it would be a tough decision to buy a dedicated monochrome camera with a fixed 28mm lens for $6K.
Agree

The Q2 is really a marvel
By: descartes1 : November 11th, 2020-06:41
This one interests me but I got the standard Q2 shortly before Covid and I haven’t been able to use it is much as I’d like. (No travel), so I I’m not really considering the monochrome. For what it’s worth, the Regular Q2 creates startling imagine in its m...
