I am intrigued and tempted by both of these beautiful and very special watches. While I don’t know if I will buy either one, if
I had to choose one it would be a very difficult choice for me. The platinum green is my favorite 5270 and I much prefer the blue 5370 to the black.
I am very curious how the Forum members feel about each. I know some of you own one or perhaps both. Initial impressions sometimes change over time with the experience of ownership. But whether or not you own one, how do you feel about each and which do you prefer?
Obviously, if I were to decide to buy one, in the end it would be solely based on where my personal preference ultimately leads me.
That said, it always a fun, interesting and informative exercise to get other collectors’ viewpoints. And sometimes a comment may bring to light an issue, characteristic, negative or positive that is otherwise not so readily apparent.

The blue dial in person is about as attractive as any dial I have ever seen. Unlike most enamel dials which have a grainy surface, this
one is like a mirror. And the particular blue hue is just mesmerizing (at least to me). Add to that the Breguet numerals and ….

You already have 5970s....no need for 5270s unless you are on a theme of PCCs...then you need 1518, 2499, 3970s....lol.
I would think a 5370P will be the choice for diversity but there is no logic to our hobby. It is nice to see we're kind of back to 2019.

that makes sense to me, I tend to like variations on a theme. As far as 2499 …. For me that is the ultimate PCC. I tried a few times. Never worked out and now too pricey for my taste. Much prefer 5970 to 3970. I have been down the 3970 road more than once...

I love both of these.
I mean either one would be a dream watch. For me of all the modern 5270 my favorite is the 5270p salmon. But this green is out of this world. So I would probably go for the 5270 with green dial. Good luck. And pls post once you have one of these beauties....

As “Clueless” mentioned, since you have 5970, the 5370 would be a good complement to your collection. The split seconds function is an interesting complication if it appeals to you. The blue dial, which I have seen in the metal, is very special and eye 👁️...

your choice is different than what I expected. If ever there was a watch that needs to be seen to be fully appreciated it is the 5370P blue. The dial is simply as good as it gets.

and i realize i am in the minority here… would be the 5204 in any iteration. Sure the dial does not pop they way it does on the two you are comparing but I find the case of the 5204 to wear extremely well. Especially the R or G as they are somewhat lighte...
The 5204 combines the functional elements of both 5270 and 5370. What’s there not to like as long as the size, particularly thickness is

Understandable. The green gradient dial of this version of 5270P is really beautiful.
Probably more attractive than the plain enamel blue dial of 5370P. Besides, Patek’s perpetual calendar chronograph is indeed hard to resist. Looking forward to your wrist shot, my friend 😊

I couldn’t agree more about your assessment of the blue dial on 5370P. That said, as indicated above my choice in the end would be 5270p green.
I am a little late to the party but figured i would chime in here.
I am the lucky owner of a 5370P Blue. The larger 41mm size of the 5370 lends a sporty feel to the watch as does the beautiful blue enamel dial. If I put on a dark blue alligator strap the watch is quite elegant but if I switch to a blue calf skin strap it...

of time your love for the watch has not at all diminished. Also that you are able to change its character a bit to suit your mood by varying the strap. That dial is something else, in the absolute best positive way!
I own a 5270J and a 5370P black.
I could say a lot about both, but perhaps not that helpful if you’re looking for feedback on these specific dial colors.
