but gave it a miss as it just did not look half as good. Yes, i know one could have bought it and made a profit from selling it but all I could think of was of the salmon dial!!

Best 3940 iteration by several miles. I love the 3940 reference in general. It is a quintessential PP. Also, as i observe, is the “Patek Philippe” on the dial in larger fonts than in other 3940s?
