Any time I have a piece that I start to not wear anymore, it’s usually time to part ways. Besides that, you have more than covered any gaps between the 5712 and the 5960! It really is a great group you have, and it sounds like we are thinking similar on future pieces. 5170 in the two versions you mention are what I consider the most right now,, but then again then 5960 calls out to me, too. I may end up with both eventually, as they are very different pieces.

IMHO, I think the 5170 black dial will compliment to your existing collection a little more.
The addition of a classic in-house column wheel chronograph plus the beloved breguet numerals will naturally expand your Patek portfolio to another level.

I tend to prefer white metals. As I said, I wear my watches daily and I feel more comfortable this way, I prefer to keep my watches more "under the radar". But I also like YG and RG for certain occasions, so don't discard it for the future 😉

Thankfully I think the days of those real impulsive purchases are gone. It's just that I seem to like pretty much anything that's shiny and with that it's hard to have any real focus!
